“Hannah and Ben, your hospitality, fabulous Guide Michelin-level meals and wit and charm added a dimension that made us feel like family, not just guests.”

The Manor dates back to the 16th Century and much of its history is sadly veiled in mystery.

It is however typical of Norman fortified Manor’s with the tower being equipped with ‘firing points’ to defend against attack, its walls are of stone, three feet thick and oak beams span all the rooms – oh and of course a muzzle loading cannon sits outside!

Having undergone a total refurbishment in 2021/22 Ben and Hannah are looking forward to welcoming guests to their magnificent home.

Truly this is a joint venture, Ben is an historian with a passion for the stories of D Day and Hannah is a most amazing cook and hostess.

The Manor has an armoury and another of Ben’s interests (besides flying) are firearms and many these are on display around the Manor. Formerly an equestrian of some note Hannah has a love for animals of all sizes and now devotes her time to another of her many talents – cooking.
