D Day was the greatest military operation in history and the ‘big picture’ is well known and documented.
However as with all pictures it is one made of ‘pixels’ – these pixels are the small stories of heroism and courage that turned a landing into a liberation – and these stories in essence form the backbone of our tours.
The Tours
Overview
Our Tours are ‘fully inclusive’ and include three nights residency, all meals and drinks taken at the Manor, any museum entry fees and two days of personally guided tours of the D DAY battlefields.

Itinerary
Day 1.
After breakfast – there is the briefing c.40 minutes

The Airborne drop covers most of the morning then amongst the other sites we will visit Ste Mere Eglise (first village liberated on D Day) Utah beach and the bridge that features as the last scenes in the film Saving Private Ryan.

Day 2.
Breakfast – no briefing as I shall be briefing on site.
Moving some 40 miles we will visit the site of Point du Hoc where the US Ranger scaled the 90 foot cliffs to destroy the German gun battery. On to Longues sur Mer where the guns of this amazing battery are still in position. The American cemetery at Colleville sur mer and finally – Omaha beach.
